Medici Historical Home is a timeless retreat located in the very heart of Florence near San Lorenzo square, and just steps from the fascinating church and Medici Chapels. This property provides an enchanting blend of history and modern luxury. Nestled within a 19th-century building, this newly renovated two-bedroom residence combines old-world charm with state-of-the-art comforts.

The apartment (130sqm /1350 sqft in size), located on the first floor (with elevator), comfortably accommodates 5 guests in 2 elegant double suites. Stepping inside feels like traveling back in time. The focus of the renovation project was to interwine original frescoes and decorations, discovered beneath layers of paint, making them the centerpiece of each room and giving the home a unique historic charm.

The bright living area overlooks the delightful square and is approximately 500 sq ft in size, featuring an open kitchen with breakfast bar, a designer marble dining table, and a relaxing sofa area. Both bedrooms have exquisite and luxurious en-suite bathrooms, furnished in deluxe marble with handcrafted natural brass fittings. The interiors feature parquet floors, custom-built furniture, and elegant luxurious Italian fabrics.

The apartment has been very thoughtfully designed and is adorned with modern comforts. Each room has been lavishly furnished with bespoke decor, high-quality textiles to complement the home’s historical essence. For maximum comfort, each suite features:

Our stay in the Medici Historical Home was exceptional. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Erika who showed us the amenities and features of the property. We were captivated by the home's unique charm — original frescoes intertwined with modern luxury! An authentic Florentine atmosphere that felt both timeless and elegant. Every detail of the design was thoughtfully curated, from the rich fabrics to the beautiful brass finishes. Everything you need at your fingertips. The beds were among the most comfortable we’ve experienced while traveling. The location was incredible as you are steps away from everything! You will truly feel like a local when stepping right into the Piazza di Madonna degli Aldobrandini. Thank you Gianni and Dona... Can't wait to come back!

We couldn't have had a better time during our stay at this wonderful home in Florence, Italy. Everything was perfect! The owners thought of everything we could ever need while away, and we wanted for nothing, which made our trip to Florence so comfortable and enjoyable. The true gem of our stay was Erika. She could not have done enough for us during our visit. From the moment we arrived, she provided a swift yet informative tour of the property, showing us how to work the appliances and ensuring we felt at home. When we faced a potential medical emergency, Erika was incredibly helpful, providing phone numbers and addresses for nearby medical facilities and offering to arrange transportation. Her prompt responses to our questions throughout our stay were invaluable, and she even arranged taxis for our departure, which was incredibly helpful! A huge thank you to the owners and Erika for a fabulous stay in Florence!

This property was absolutely perfect for our family! It is stunning and modern yet cozy. We loved it. The location is perfectly close to the to the Duomo and many restaurants and stores. The property manager was outstanding and helpful to us. This property is so gorgeous and comfortable. I can’t wait to return!
