Medici Historical Home is a timeless retreat located in the very heart of Florence near San Lorenzo square, and just steps from the fascinating church and Medici Chapels. This property provides an enchanting blend of history and modern luxury. Nestled within a 19th-century building, this newly renovated two-bedroom residence combines old-world charm with state-of-the-art comforts.
The apartment (130sqm /1350 sqft in size), located on the first floor (with elevator), comfortably accommodates 5 guests in 2 elegant double suites. Stepping inside feels like traveling back in time. The focus of the renovation project was to interwine original frescoes and decorations, discovered beneath layers of paint, making them the centerpiece of each room and giving the home a unique historic charm.
The bright living area overlooks the delightful square and is approximately 500 sq ft in size, featuring an open kitchen with breakfast bar, a designer marble dining table, and a relaxing sofa area. Both bedrooms have exquisite and luxurious en-suite bathrooms, furnished in deluxe marble with handcrafted natural brass fittings. The interiors feature parquet floors, custom-built furniture, and elegant luxurious Italian fabrics.

The apartment boasts two luxury bedrooms, each of which has a beautiful en-suite bathroom to ensure utmost privacy and commodity. Each bedroom has been exquisitely interior designed and decorated with their own subtle themes and colour palette. Beautiful marble adorns each en suite bathroom with walk-in shower.
Suite 1: This wonderful bedroom is furnished in blue/grey tones, inspired by the colors of the frescoes that adorn the walls and ceiling. This room has a double bed measuring 160cm x 190cm with a mattress depth of 24cm. The elegant room looks out onto the quaint piazza below, Piazza di Madonna degli Aldobrandini.
Suite 2: This beautiful bedroom is sunny and bright with ample wardrobe space, and decorated in the color altrose, which perfectly matches the decorative details found on the walls and ceilings. It is very spacious and includes a closet/relaxation area where, if needed, there is a pull-out single bed to accommodate a 3rd person. The bathroom reveals a wonderful panoramic view onto the Medici Chapels. This suite 2 has a bed comprising of 2 single mattresses each one measuring 90cm x 190cm with a mattress depth of 24cm. The default mattress setting for this bedroom will be a double (the two twins joined). If you wish for the beds to be separated please let us know.
